KEON & EMILY

Their Story...

In August 2006 Keon spotted Emily for the very first time. He was a sophomore and she was about to start her first year as a Freshman at Tuskegee University. From then on his plan was in motion. Throughout the semester Keon made sure he was noticed by Emily in one way or another, but the deal breaker was that beautiful day when Emily was walking on the yard and the cutest puppy ran right up to her. Suddenly Keon walked up with the most amazing smile and says, “ Do you like my puppy?”, a heck of a pick up line I know, but funny enough those words got to Emily!  For the next few weeks she would babysit his puppy on away football game weekends and the friendship was made.
As their friendship grew they both noticed how many things they had in common in fact they were almost the same person in different bodies. After one home game, Keon had played a great game and Emily had danced her heart out, so they finally decided to go on thier first date, to the schools cafeteria since they were both tired from a long day. Unfortunately, that date was quickly interrupted when he found out that the puppy had destroyed his kitchen…. HEHE!
The next weekend they decided to actually leave the school and spent their first official date together in Auburn Alabama at Mama Goldberg’s restaurant in a night filled with food, fun, laughs, and instant chemistry. 
Keon decided to make it official and asked Emily to be his Girlfriend one night over homework with a piece of paper that said will you be my girlfriend, and three boxes; yes, no, or maybe, of course the no and the maybe were already blocked out. After a goofy grin from Emily he knew it was settled. For the last six and a half years they have grown together, laughed together, and experienced many amazing and great things. Now as their wedding day approaches they are more excited than ever to take on this adventure together!
